I discovered my passion for the camera through food photography for re:store, and within a few years this has grown beautifully into a vocation of its own. Nandi Shah Photography was established in 2019, and my oeuvre is comprised of Indian still-life images with a dark and moody feel. I am inspired by the aesthetics of the Dutch Masters and am self-taught.
My photographs have been exhibited at the IDINDIA2020 design fair in Okhla, Delhi, by Apparao Galleries. I’ve collaborated with brands including Kanakavalli (India), Amethyst (India) and Original Madras Trading Company (USA), creating images that showcase their ethos and their catalogues.
